National Junior Honor Society students lead and participate in community and school service projects, such as donation drives, neighborhood clean up, and letter/card writing. Each spring, students are invited to apply for NJHS, and are selected based on five characteristics: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Character. Meetings are held once a month, October through May.
