Forensics is a drama/speaking program that has students selecting a category, finding or writing a piece, practicing it at home, as well as practicing with an assigned teacher at school. Practices are held 1-2 times a week during the day in the months of December, January, and February. After intensive practice, the student or students will present the chosen piece to judges three different times at a Level 1 competition. If successful grades are received at Level 1, students move on to a Level 2 competition.

- 8-Minute Persuasive Speech
- Solo-Acting
- Interpretation of Poetry
- Moments in History
- Interpretation of Prose
- Demonstration
- Storytelling
- 4-Minute Informative Speech
Traditionally, the West De Pere Middle School Forensics Team does a great job representing our school at competitions. We look forward to working with your child and helping our students become strong public speakers!
