Battle of the Books - Grades 5 & 6
Battle of the Books is a state-wide competition where students take a list of twenty books, divide it up amongst teams consisting of 2-4 students, and then "battle" each other in trivia question format on details about the books. Battles take place during lunch recess. At the end of the season, the team with the most points from our school competes in the state competition via a computerized test. Battle lists are available beginning in September and can be found on the Battle of the Books Google Classroom. Battles typically start in the month of December.
