Youth Apprenticeships provide a unique opportunity to start preparing for a career while still in high school. One or Two-year Youth Apprenticeship placements combine academic education, occupational instruction, and work-based learning from a local employer. Students will be awarded a Youth Apprenticeship competency certificate by the Department of Workforce Development upon successful completion of the program curriculum. Students are also awarded high school elective credit for hours worked.
Interested sophomores or juniors should contact Mrs. Corey Wollin at cwollin@wdpsd.com or their school counselor.
