Students research potential careers and create a detailed portfolio outlining the requirements, career options, and skills related to those careers. Students are required to add their research and detailed portfolio to their individual cumulative ePortfolio. |

Students will begin to see the “big picture” of mathematics and learn how numeric, algebraic, and geometric concepts are woven together to build a foundation for higher mathematical thinking. |

Students earn Social Studies credit through Project Based Learning and/or an individualized internet-based program. 7th grade Social Studies emphasizes world history from ancient civilizations through the end of the 20th century. 8th grade Social Studies focuses on American history from early exploration through the present day. |

Students earn Science credit through through Project Based Learning and/or an individualized internet-based program. Students are exposed to the designs and patterns in the physical universe, and develop the ability to be aware of and participate in scientific inquiry. |
